Orme and Hall - designer-makers working to create distinctive silver and mixed metal jewellery.

Sustainable jewellery that focuses on individuality, quality, reuse and recycling

Individuality - everything is hand made in the UK by Sarah Orme and Damon Hall with minimal use of powered tools. The focus is on craft and the influence of raw materials in creating unique, striking pieces of jewellery.

Quality - Reusing old silver does not result in any reduction in quality. On completion, silver pieces are sent to be assayed and hallmarked following the tradition of British silver-smithing.

Reuse and Recycling - damaged antiques form the base materials for design. Worn out copper coal scuttles, broken cigarette cases, holey mirror backs, all fuel the process of giving new life to redundant items.

Taken together, these criteria reflect our desire to reject mass production in order to make individual items for individual people.
