Since 1994 we have lived on a 60-feet long narrow boat and travelled the UK’s inland waterways. From the mountains of north Wales, through the Midlands to London, we have lived in city and countryside, experienced the differences in culture, food, language and architecture that exist on our small island. This continuing voyage influences how we live and work. Our ever-changing garden and proximity to nature keeps us in tune with the varying seasons and weather. Long summer days enable us to be more productive, whilst in winter we are prone to hibernation. The range of environments we inhabit affects our work – being surrounded by skyscrapers can bring about monolithic pendants while rolling countryside might result in abstract rings. We hope you like the product of these intermingling experiences. |
