Here is a sample of our latest work to give an idea of style, give an indication of price, and tell the story of each piece.    

We have measured each piece to give an idea of size. Please note these are approximate due to the non-uniform nature of most pieces. (Diameters are measured at the narrowest point). Post and packing costs £3.49 (First Class, Recorded Delivery). If ordering more than one item, if you require postal insurance, or if are ordering from outside the UK, please email prior to ordering for individual postage costs.  

As well as the earrings we make to order we have been making some one-off studs. 

Rectangular Studs

These earrings were made from the edge of a sterling silver tray. They were textured using an old steel mandrel.

They measure 1.3 cm wide and 2 cm long.

Textured Studs

 Fused from a melange of old hair brushes, these earrings weigh 7 grams. 

They measure 1.5 cm long and and 0.8 cm across.

Ridged Studs

These earrings were manipulated with tongs while molten in order to create their ridged effect.

These elegant earrings measure 1.7 cm long and 0.5 cm wide.

Damaged teaspoons form one of the major sources of silver for our pieces. Here are three different designs that have been derived from spoons.

Cracked Eggs

This piece has been made from a teaspoon bowl, accentuated with two small hollows of silver that have been likened to cracked eggs. The surface has been textured using wire brushes.

The spoon measures 4.3 cm long and 2.5 cm across. It is hallmarked on the reverse and supplied on an 18-inch sterling silver snake chain.

Pearls  

This long line pendant was made from a teaspoon bowl. It has been textured with hammers and its design heightened with the addition of fresh water pearls.

The pendant measures 7.5 cm long including the pearls, is hallmarked on the reverse and is supplied on an 18-inch sterling silver trace chain.

Monolith

This is one of our most popular designs. It is a simple pendant cut from a teaspoon handle and textured with hammers.

The pendant measures just over 4 cm long, is hallmarked on the reverse and supplied on an 18-inch sterling silver snake chain.

Bronze is used in sculpture, fittings for sea-going boats (e.g. portholes) and major engineering projects. With a dark patina it looks great in jewellery, both alone and when combined with silver.

Square

This simple but different pendant is made from bronze with the addition of silver wire.

The measures 2.7 cm in across. It comes made up on an 18-inch sterling silver chain.

Planet

This is a truly mixed metal piece having been made from copper wire, bronze and silver.

It measures 4.3 cm wide and 2 cm in high and is supplied on an 18-inch sterling silver chain.

Bronze and Silver Drop

Lozenges of bronze and silver linked together by jump rings.   

The pendant measures 4 cm long and is 2.3 cm across the silver piece which is hallmarked on the reverse. The pendant is supplied on an 18-inch sterling silver snake chain.

We also use beads recycled from damaged Victorian and later jewellery in our designs.

Beaded Flowers

Made up to 22-inches this is a low sitting necklace. The garnet coloured beads came from an old necklace and the flowers were cut from a Victorian mirror.

The beaded flower drop measures 9.5 cm long below the sterling silver chain.

Black Gold

Mounted on sterling wire, these are gorgeous Victorian black glass beads containing gold leaf.  

The top bead measures 1 cm in diameter and the two beads together form a drop of 3 cm. The pendant is supplied on an 18-inch sterling silver snake chain.

White Gold Earrings

These earrings are made from fantastic clear and white glass beads containing red gold leaf. They came from a damaged Victorian necklace.

The small bead measures 0.9 cm in diameter and the two beads together measure 3 cm.

The earrings are supplied on sterling silver fish hook ear-wires.
